I Wish I Knew



With the release of their latest CD 'The Bubble Revolution', I Wish I Knew are back in the UK for another tour. The original style of the band (the band itself addresses their style to influences of postrock, indie and shoegazer) is reflected in the collective confusion regarding how to classify the band's sound: they have been compared to the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai, The Cure and Dead Can Dance. Even bands like Jefferson Airplane and Portishead have been mentioned. Perhaps the most accurate description offered to date is that of an indie band with a new-wave sound seen from a new perspective.
